Our client is an Aerospace Engineering Company that provides support to all branches of the military and government sectors.
Seeking an experienced Avionics Engineer to provide full-spectrum support for managing and organizing resources and personnel to efficiently and effectively meet the objectives of each task. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating tactical data link systems, position location, display systems, digital interphone systems, and identification capabilities for application to military operations. You will support aircraft information management systems requirements, testing, certification, and spectrum management requirements, testing, and certification.
Responsibilities will include:
Serving as an Avionics Integration Engineer with emphasis on Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) requirements, policies, and regulations
Communicating with other engineering functionals to ensure effective collaboration
Assisting in performing engineering tasks in support of development activities including requirements definition, design, integration, test, and transition to operations
Applying detailed knowledge of avionics engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, modeling/simulation, T&E, and model-based systems engineering
Performing requirement and system capacity analysis, investigating alternative solutions and architecture trade-offs, making assessments, supporting operations concept development, and documenting results
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 15 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 12 years of experience, or PhD with 4 years of experience is required
Knowledge in avionics, software, computer, radar, and communications engineering principles
Active DoD Secret Clearance
